Welcome to our website!

We at Mount Joy Mennonite are eager to help you learn who we are!

Why does Mount Joy Mennonite Church exist?
Our purpose is to exalt Christ, to equip Christians, to encourage those in need, and to
evangelize those who don't know Jesus.
Who do we want to become? Here is our vision statement:
God calls us to be disciples of Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, to grow as a
community of grace, joy, and peace, so that God's healing and hope flow through us to the
    world.
God enabling us, we envision being a people who:

  • Worship God with all that we are and all that we have.
  • Invite and include everyone regardless of race, class, or special needs.
  • Obey the Bible in belief, word, and deed.
  • Discern and nurture the gifts of each person for ministry.
  • Pursue God's peace and reconciliation among all people both locally and globally.
  • Care deeply for one another.
  • Provide resources to meet congregational and community needs.
  • Share Christ's love and make disciples, both at home and around the world.
