Children

We want every child who participates in the life of our congregation to experience the goodness of being known and loved and the joy of belonging. Children are encouraged to connect with Jesus and challenged to grow. They can connect with loving adults and other children through classes.

Here are options we offer for children:

-Sunday Morning: Children age 0-3 can join either our nursery or toddler care. Children age 4 and up join our main worship service. 

-After service we have children classes for all ages. This hour is from 10:30am-11:30am

-Wednesday nights starting in September to the end of February we offer a program called “Discovery Kids Clubs”. 

Exciting things are happening at Mount Joy Mennonite Church and your child is invited to the fun!  Discovery Kids Clubs (formerly Pioneer Clubs) may have a new name, but it is all the same great fun with a mission and friendship focus, all centered on the love of Jesus as we learn and grow in the knowledge of Christ.

Online registration for the 2025-26 Clubs season is now open and we would love to have your child(ren) join us! Discovery Kids Clubs serves children aged 4 through grade 5 and meets every Wednesday from 6:30-8PM beginning September 10, 2025 through February 25, 2026.
