Praise God that an additional 6 men from our congregation have joined the Landisville District MDS Partnership Home work week in Franklin, LA.

We will be gone September 12-19, 2009

Yes, that is now!

These six men have joined the other three members from Mount Joy Mennonite who had previously committed to go. Our group includes Nik Fritz, Tom Camacho, Cliff Sweigart, Rob Flanagan, Jim Nolt, Doug Wolgemuth, Jeff Keener, Terry Frey, and Brian Ebersole.

Other District participants this week include cooks Merv and Reba Hess, BJ Perrone (Landisville Mennonite), Jason Smucker (Chestnut Hill), and Steve Knull (Marietta).

We are building a home for Mrs. Rosemary Davis. Please follow the progress of the home on the website www.mrsrosemary.shutterfly.com  

Also, ask Ken and Nancy Keefer, Joel Keefer, or Bob and Marabelle Herr about their experience!

Please do two things this week.   

1. Pray for our safety and good weather as we raise the walls and roof to Mrs. Rosemary's new home

2.  Consider a designated giving offering to help close the budget gap.  MJMC should be contributing around $5,000 to the project, or as the Lord leads you. Mark your offering envelope accordingly.
